Jessie Mae Postier, 93, of Garber, Oklahoma was the daughter of Leslie Lawrence and Mary Ellen Burke Whaylen. She was born January 13, 1912 in Iowa and died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at the Methodist Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma. Jessie and Harold A. Postier were married on August 21, 1935 in Garber, Oklahoma and they enjoyed 63 years of marriage before his death on March 27, 1999. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving care giver who always lovingly gave care to her family and friends. She was homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber, Oklahoma. Rev. Joseph Myers will officiate. Interment will be in the Garber Cemetery at Garber, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Endowment Fund of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Garber, Oklahoma 73738. Survivors are two daughters, Delores Moore and her husband, Curtis, of Abilene, Texas, and Emma Lee Cerny of Enid, Oklahoma; two sons, Bud Postier and his wife, Susie, of Garber, Oklahoma and Richard Postier and his wife, Sharon, of Skiatook, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Harold, Jessie was preceded in death by one son, Billy Postier; one grandson, David Cerny, one great grandson, Casey Postier; her parents, Leslie and Mary Ellen Whaylen; two brothers and four sisters.
