Mary I. Jean Koch, 73, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of James E. and Lucile Keelin Flanigan. She was born May 28, 1939 in Success, Arkansas and died Sunday, May 18, 2013 in Perry, Oklahoma. She married her best friend and sweetheart, Clarence Koch on January 14, 1963. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January. Jean enjoyed working and keeping busy. She was the long time bookkeeper for the Farmers CoOp and later she worked as an executive secretary for the Residential Life at Oklahoma State University. More recently she was the smiling face that greeted everyone at the front desk at the Perry YMCA. She had enjoyed working with children as a Sunday school teacher, Blue Birds leader and she always looked forward to helping cook at the Lariat Creek Christian Camp each summer. Jean loved the lord and she was an active member of the Church of Christ, in Perry, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Church of Christ, in Perry, Oklahoma. Minister Mark Uhlman will officiate. Interment will be at Grace Hill Cemetery with a private family burial. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lariat Creek Christian Camp in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Jean is survived by her husband, Clarence Koch of the home one daughter, Carla Robbins and her husband, Rusty of Perry, Oklahoma one son, Bruce M. Koch and his wife, Judy of Perry, Oklahoma six grandchildren, Christopher Robbins and his wife, Jessica of Miami, Oklahoma, Ryan Robbins of Norman, Oklahoma, Kayla Johnson and her husband, Mark Johnson of San Antonio, Texas, Levi Koch, Jeffery Koch, Macy Koch all of Perry, Oklahoma three siblings, Lavern Flanigan and his wife Ann of Granite City, Illinois, Viva Nida and her husband, Kenny of Covington, Oklahoma, Larry Flanigan and his wife, Sharon of Pollard, Arkansas two sisterinlaws, Faye Flanigan of Missouri, Joyce Flanigan of Cave City, Arkansas numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Randy William Koch, parents, James E. and Lucile Flanigan three brothers, Joe Flanigan, Lloyd Flanigan, Buddy Flanigan.
