James Letchworth

James F. Letchworth, 87, of Lucien, Oklahoma, was the son of James A. and Lila Bell Collins Letchworth. He was born on December 27, 1915 in Orlando, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at the Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Orlando High School and attended Oklahoma A M. James and Roberta M. Kindschi were married on October 21, 1938 at the United Methodist Church in Orlando, Oklahoma. After living briefly southwest of Orlando, they moved southeast of Covington to the Letchworth Family farm in 1940. In 1968, they moved to Lucien. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the United Methodist Church in Lucien, Oklahoma. Rev. C.M. Wilson will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Lucien United Methodist Church building fund in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. James is survived by his wife, Roberta Letchworth; one son, James R. Letchworth of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, Gina Ann Peterson and her husband, Tony and Alison McCaul, all of Fort Worth, Texas and Rodney McCaul and his wife, Kristen, of Orlando, Oklahoma and four great-grandchildren, Zackary and Levi Peterson, both of Fort Worth, Texas and Austin and Aubrey McCaul, both of Orlando, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lila Ann Maxwell and his parents, James and Lila Bell Letchworth.
