James Booker

James Paul Booker, 38, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Jerry Taylor and Velma Jean Parker Taylor. He was born on June 14, 1973 in Brewton, Alabama and died Monday, September 5, 2011 at Perry Memorial Hospital. He graduated from Flomaton, Alabama. He enjoyed being the counter manager for Estee Lauder in Fort Walton, Florida. James will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking, working in his flower garden, entertaining his friends and decorating the house, especially Christmas trees. He was a employee of Mr.Cs convenience store where he loved his job and working with fellow employees Melissa and Nickie. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. James is survived by his partner, George McAlister of Perry, Oklahoma his mother, Velma Jean Taylor of Pensacola, Florida special family friends, Sue McDonald and Vickie and Dwaine Dillard, all of Perry, Oklahoma and Paco, BeBe, Buster, Pookie and Kitty Meow.
