Irene Moses, 74, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Lee Galvester McGlory and Roberta Lucille Wilson McGlory. She was born on February 19, 1936 in Mehan, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Booker T. Washington High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma and Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa receiving her Associates Degree. On February 26, 1953, Irene married Lamar Moses. Irene was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and the Blueflame Motorcycle Club. She enjoyed sewing, taking care of kids, cooking, going to college and animals. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Pastor Cleo McGlory will officiate. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077. Irene is survived by seven sons, Abraham Linzy and his wife, Annette, of Tishamingo, Oklahoma, Delbert Moses, Luddie Moses, Froghorn Moses, Edward Moses, Zachary Moses and his wife, Sheila, Matt Brown, all of Perry, Oklahoma three stepsons, Lamar Moses Jr., and his wife Debbie, and Alrow Moses, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Lewis Moses of Stillwater, Oklahoma three daughters, Vanessa Moses and Sylvia Atkinson, and her husband, Bruce, all of Perry, Oklahoma and Elizabeth Frost of Edmond, Oklahoma two stepdaughters, Maggie Moses and Martha Moses, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren three brothers, Charles and Jan McGlory, Cleo and Paula McGlory and Eugene and Beverly McGlory five sisters, Leona and Henry Edwards, Clementine Morgan, Dora and Jesse Staley, Esther and Earl Brake and Sonya and Patrick Gaines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Moses one son, Clyde Moses one daughter, Cheryl Moses her parents, Lee and Roberta McGlory one brother, Paul McGlory and two sisters, Doris Ella Franklin and Helen Lucille Murray.
