Hilda Marshall

Hilda L. Marshall, 99, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of George and Lizzie Schnitzgrund Kemnitz. She was born September 11, 1906, at Lucien, Oklahoma and died Monday, February 27, 2006 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, Oklahoma. On October 9, 1937, she and Harry Marshall were married in Perry, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Royal Neighbors. Hilda enjoyed bowling and visiting with people. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion in Grace Hill Cemetery at Perry, Oklahoma. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma. Hilda is survived by three nephews, Earl Nicewander, of Perry, Oklahoma, Don Kemnitz, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Paul Nicewander, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and two nieces, Patricia Northrup, of Wichita, Kansas, and Carlita Walters, of Edmond, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, who died on January 4, 1967; her parents, George and Lizzie Kemnitz; three brothers, Lewis Kemnitz, Fred Kemnitz and A.G. Kemnitz; two sisters, Dora Kemnitz and Emma Nicewander; three nephews, Verl Kemnitz, Lee Nicewander and Vernon Nicewander; and one niece, Arlene Flynn.
