Helen G. Gottschalk, 94, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of James Harvey and Celia Shehi Gardener. She was born on November 23, 1910 in Perry, Oklahoma and died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at her home. Helen married Carl Otto Gottschalk on April 23, 1930 in Perry, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2000. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. Kent Ritchie will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the First Baptist Church of Perry in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077. Helen is survived by three sons, James Gottschalk and his wife, Peggy, Ray Gottschalk and his wife, Ann, and Leonard Gottschalk and his wife, Alice, all of Perry, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Debbie Hooper and her husband, Tim Dolezal, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Teri Houska and her husband, Steve, of Perry, Oklahoma, Jerry Gottschalk and his wife, Sherry, of Manford, Oklahoma, Diane Hines and her husband, Eric, Doug Gottschalk and his wife, Paula, and Darla Nida, all of Perry, Oklahoma, Greg Gottschalk of Orlando, Florida and Dr. Gayla Salvati and her husband, Phil, of Perry, Oklahoma; sixteen great-grandchildren, Shannon Byrd and her husband, Lance, and Ryan Houska, all of Perry, Oklahoma, Deidre Boyd and her husband, Andy, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Matt Houska of Perry, Oklahoma, Leslie Hooper of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Lindsay Gilbert and her husband, Adam, of Manford, Oklahoma, Karen Nida and Krystal Nida, both of Edmond, Oklahoma and Derek Hines of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Brady Houska, Jeremy Hines and Kyle Nida, all of Perry, Oklahoma, Jordan Hooper of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Kade Gottschalk of Perry, Oklahoma, Casey Dolezal of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Parker Gottschalk of Perry, Oklahoma and one great-great grandchildren, Jaidyn Belle Hooper of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
