Hazel Busse

Hazel Elizabeth Moore Busse, 97, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Herbert Armstrong and Lida Marie Rishton McMullen. She was born on December 19, 1909 in Billings, Oklahoma and died on Sunday, March 11, 2007. On January 6, 1936, Hazel married Lloyd Moore in Perry, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1946. She was raised in the Billings area. Hazel enjoyed sewing, cooking, quilting, flowers and gardening. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Mary Circle, Petunia Garden Club and the Friendly Community Fellowship. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Hazel is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Eby and her husband, Jay, of Prescott, Arizona, Phyllis Oliphant and her husband, Otis, of Norman, Oklahoma and Jan Billingsley and her husband, Gary, of Perry, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Willa Dalrymple of Alhambra, California; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Florence Dalrymple of Osage City, Kansas and Alice Yandell of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Moore, two sons, Donald Dalrymple and Kenneth Dalrymple, two granddaughters and four brothers.
