Harold Whitcomb

Harold Ernest Whitcomb, 76, of Blackwell, Oklahoma was born October 31, 1928 in Curtis, Oklahoma; he was the son of Jesse E. and Lydia Salsberry Whitcomb. He died Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at the St. Francis Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. A private service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Harold was united in marriage to Lestelle Cantrell on September 21, 1949 at the Church of Christ Church in Mooreland, Oklahoma. They came to Blackwell from Udall, Kansas in May of 1991. Harold was employed with Beech Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas for forty years when he retired. He is survived by his wife, Lestelle of the home; a daughter, Ellen Hutton and her husband Cecil of Alva, Oklahoma; a son, Harlan Whitcomb of Kansas; five grandchildren, Jesse Whitcomb, Jason Cox, Jeffrey Cox, Raven Whitcomb and Patricia Hutton; and one great granddaughter, Jordan Cox.
