Harold Homer Neely, 78, of Tonkawa, Oklahoma died Friday, June 30, 2006 at Ponca City Medical Center, Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was born July 13, 1927 in Marland, Oklahoma to Harold Raymond and Dora Davis Neely. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery Tonkawa, Oklahoma with the Rev. Michael Brannon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in care of Dugger Funeral Home, 400 E. Grand Ave. Tonkawa, Oklahoma 74653. Harold served in the Army during the Korean War and received a Purple Heart. He worked for Ponca Iron and Metal for 32 years and owned Tonkawa Iron and Metal for 20 years retiring in 1996. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. He married Juanita Naomi Smith December 18, 1950 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and she preceded him in death on August 21, 1999. He is survived by his brothers, Lloyd, Roy and his wife, Janice, Robert and his wife, Linda all of Tonkawa; his sisters, Lillian Austin and her husband, Bill of Monitor, Washington, Goldie Colvin of Tonkawa; step sons; Bobby Gene Staton and Marion Ray Crowe; ten grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
