Harold Kindschi

May 11, 1917 — April 16, 2008

Harold Henry Kindschi, 90, of Perry, Oklahoma was the son of Henry and Anna Kindschi. He was born May 11, 1917 at Orlando, Oklahoma and passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry. Nicknamed Bud, he spent all of his life in the Orlando area. He was a hard-working farmer and rancher and had worked in the oilfield at various times. He also raised thousands of chickens and delivered eggs to many grocery stores and other places of business, both in Perry and Stillwater. Bud enjoyed water skiing and spent many weekends on Lake Carl Blackwell with family and friends and enjoyed teaching many young people to water ski. He loved to square dance and didn't miss a square dance if there was one in the area. In later years, he enjoyed fishing and always liked to have his picture taken with the big fish. He enjoyed watching Dr. Phil and Jerry Springer on television in the nursing home. He enjoyed his plants and garden and feeding the birds around the nursing home. He enjoyed scooting around Perry on his motorized chair and always wanted to be busy. He was a favorite of many of the caregivers at Green Valley Nursing Home and always appreciated their friendship. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
