Hank Lloyd, beloved husband, father and papa, 83, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of James Earl and Anna Pearl Umbower Lloyd. He was born on August 5, 1925 in Royer, Pennsylvania and died Saturday, April 4, 2009 at his home. On December 23, 1944, Hank married Betty Lou Hyder in Canute, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on February 28, 2003. Hank served his country as a member of the United States Navy during World War II. He enjoyed fishing and watching sporting events, but he especially loved watching his Perry Maroons. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009 at the First Christian Church. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made payable to the Perry Takedown Club, Perry Quarterback Club or the Perry Diamond Club in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077 Hank is survived by three sons, Philip Lloyd and his wife, Beverly, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tommy Lloyd and his wife, Margaret, of Harrah, Oklahoma and Stephen Lloyd and his wife, Debbie, of Perry, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Harry Lloyd of Williamsburg, Pennsylvania and one sister, Beverly Rhodes of Williamsburg, Pennsylvania.
