Grace VanBebber, 93, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, formerly of Perry, Oklahoma, died Friday, January 20, 2006. She was born August 12, 1912 in Perry, Oklahoma to Frederick R. Hageman and Laura Belle Brenner Hageman. She married John Curtis Washabaugh on October 23, 1928. They lived northeast of Perry where they farmed. They had six children. After the death of John Curtis, the family moved to Orlando, Oklahoma. In June of 1949, Grace married Ralph VanBebber and the family moved to Countyline, Oklahoma where he worked in the oilfield and farmed. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry, Oklahoma. Rev. Charles VanBebber will officiate. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the Duncan Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Grace is survived by two sons, Albert Washabaugh of Graham, Washington and Bill Washabaugh of Perry, Oklahoma; one daughter, Judy Loyd of Bentonville, Arkansas; two sisters, Rose Clardy and Mary Brokop, both of Perry, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Joan Bamberger of Reno, Nevada; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John C. Washabaugh and Ralph L. VanBebber; one daughter, Dolores Johnson; two sons, James Wesley Washabaugh and John Edward Washabaugh; one step-daughter, Norma Jean Rupp and three brothers, Oscar Hageman, Raymond Hageman and Bill Hageman.
