Gordon Eugene Kindschi, 79, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Henry and Anna Grininger Kindschi. He was born on August 9, 1928 west of Orlando on the family farm and lived there till December 1969, he died on May 30, 2008 in the Perry Memorial Hospital. Gordon attended Star Grade School west of Orlando and graduated from Orlando High School in 1946. On August 8, 1948, Gordon married Lena Christine Rayson at the Orlando Methodist Church, where he was a member all his life and served as a trustee. Gordon and Christine moved to Alva, Oklahoma in 1969 and lived there until 1975. At that time they moved to Perry, Oklahoma and lived there until 1982, when they moved back to the family farm in Orlando. In December 2001 they moved to Perry. He went to work for Farm Bureau Insurance in 1965 and retired back to the family farm in 1982. In 1982, he went into partnership with his son Terry in G T Dozer Service and retired in 1996. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Perry, Oklahoma. Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery in Orlando, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Gordon is survived by his wife, Lena Christine Kindschi of the home; four sons, Henry and Norma Kindschi of Weatherford, Texas, Kenny and Brenda Kindschi of Orlando, Oklahoma, Terry and Linda Kindschi and Larry and Joanne Kindschi, all of Perry, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Jeff and Rebecca Kindschi of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Katrina and Mike Oller of Weatherford, Texas, Justin and Tecla Kindschi, Shelbi and Stephen Duke, Crystal Kindschi, Melanie Kindschi and Matt McGuire and Nathan Thompson, all of Perry, Oklahoma, and Austin Kindschi of Orlando, Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren, Chandler Kindschi and Abigail Kindschi, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Gavin Duke and Kenya Kindschi, both of Perry, Oklahoma; two sisters, Roberta Letchworth of Lucien, Oklahoma and Doreen See of Nampa, Idaho; three sisters-in-law, Betty Kindschi of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Mary Lawler of Orlando, Oklahoma and Evalyn Davidson of Woodland Hills, California; two brothers-in-law, Charles Scott of Tulsa, Oklahoma and LeRoy and Muriel Rayson of Ottawa, Kansas and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Pierre. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Kindschi; two brothers, Dale Kindschi and Harold Kindschi; two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Kindschi and Irene Vandemark and four brothers-in-law, James Letchworth, Rex Lawler, Dale Vandemark and Omar Davidson.
