Glenroy Whitehead

Glenroy Sam Whitehead, 53, of Billings, Oklahoma was the son of William John Bill and Maxine Arvilla June Warner Whitehead. He was born December 16, 1956 in Enid, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at his home. Sam was a lifelong resident of Noble County. He began parttime work at Johnstons Grain in 1976 and worked fulltime at Johnstons for 32 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, visiting with friends, taking drives and listening to polka music. Sam was always willing to help others. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Billings. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Billings. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Billings. Memorials may be made to the Billings Volunteer Fire Department and First Responders in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Box 41, Billings, OK 74630. Sam is survived by three brothers, Charles Whitehead of Billings, Oklahoma and Lenloy Whitehead and Jon Whitehead and his wife, Iilene, both of Enid, Oklahoma three sisters, Mary Whitehead of Billings, Oklahoma, Norma Hollenbaugh of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Patsy Quigley of Dewey, Oklahoma 11 nieces and nephews, 10 greatnieces and greatnephews and several greatgreatnieces and greatgreatnephews.
