Glenna Davis

Glenna passed from this life and joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. She was born in Perry, OK in 1929 and moved to Albuquerque in 1957 with her beloved husband of 63 years, Marshall L. Davis, who preceded her in death in 2009. A talented loving Mother and business woman, Glenna owned Miracle Beauty Salon, founded Davis Cleaners and worked diligently for over 30 years. She was a gifted artist, pianist, seamstress and cook. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life, the playbook for comforting her husband and raising her children. She was a beautiful Homecoming Queen at Perry, OK high school and played in the school band. Glenna was a wonderful wife and Mother who always put her family first. She was a true friend and inspiration to all who knew her. Glenna is survived by one daughter, Patti Davis Felton, and husband Scott of Dallas, Texas, two sons, Kent A. Davis and wife Mary of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Craig R. Davis and wife Glenda, of Tijeras, New Mexico brother and sister inlaws, Carroll R. and wife Patsy Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Patti and Carl Oliver of Tulsa, Oklahoma two nieces, Kathy Greeson and Jan Ewing both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two nephews, Dennis McGill of Edmond, Oklahoma and Dewayne McGill of Toledo, Ohio. Memorial services will be Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 10:30 am at Grace Hill Cemetery Pavilion. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry Alumni Association in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 North 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
