George Seegers

George Ray Seegers was born October 10, 1942 in Marland, Oklahoma to George Henry and Beatrice Maxline Wiseman Seegers. He passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Enid, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years old.

Ray graduated from Billings High School Class of 1960 and went on to attend college at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. On December 19, 1981, Ray was united in marriage to Opal Hannon in Perry, Oklahoma. He attended the First Baptist Church in Billings. Ray enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing, and watching OU football.

Ray is survived by his wife, Opal Seegers of Billings two sons, Terry Seegers and his wife, Martha, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Randy McFarland of Billings, OK three daughters, Teresa Wilson and her husband, James, of Drummond, OK, Tamera Sanchez and her husband, Alex of Fresno, California, and Lisa Humble and her husband, Hubert, of Billings, OK one sister, Carolyn Moon and her husband, William, of Wickes, AR and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 27, 2014 from 2pm to 8pm at Dugger Funeral Home in Billings. Funeral services will be 2pm, Friday, November 28, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Billings, Oklahoma with Reverend Don Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, OK 73077. Arrangements are under the care of Dugger Funeral Home in Billings, Oklahoma.
