Gary Marshall

October 19, 1950 — November 23, 2017

Gary Marshall, age 67, of Wewoka, Oklahoma was born on October 19, 1950 in Guthrie, Oklahoma to Gaylord and Lillian Marshall. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 23, 2017 at Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
Gary graduated from Enid High School and then moved to Perry, Oklahoma where he made many of his memories. Every time he walked into a room he would brighten the mood. He was always a very kind and attentive man who saw the good in everyone. Gary was a huge collector of pens and phonebooks. In every town he visited, he would perpetually stop at the Chamber of Commerce to grab a phonebook or two. He was always interested in the study of geography. Some say he was a walking GPS. Whether it be a flag or a map he was fascinated by the world around us. Gary was a fan of the OU Sooners as well as the Dallas Cowboys. Not only did he love the football team, but the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders played a big part in that as well. Gary, being the witty person that he was, was the master of assigning nicknames. He also loved Halloween, old westerns, "Santy Clause", and all kinds of random facts. Gary has forever touched the people around him and will be greatly missed as a brother and forever friend.
