Gary Barker

Gary Howard Barker, age 78 of Billings, Oklahoma went to be with his heavenly Father Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Billings Fairchild Center in Billings, Oklahoma.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Friends may leave online condolences at www.brown-duggerfuneralhome.com.

The family has suggested memorials to the Billings Fairchild Center and contributions may be left at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.

Gary Howard Barker was born January 9, 1939 in Lucien, Oklahoma to Howard Samuel and Mrytle Edith (Witter) Barker. Gary lived in the Enid State School for 28 years until moving to the Billings Fairchild Center for the last 36 years. Gary loved music, the training area at the Billings Fairchild Center, coloring, going on bus rides and basketballs.

Survivors include his sister Diane Baker Cardin of Perry, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Richard Lynn Barker.

Gary will be remembered as a sweet young man.
