Freddie H. Johnson, 81, of Enid, Oklahoma, was the son of Fred William and Mary Annie Bird Johnson. He was born on December 18, 1922 on a farm north of Breckinridge, Oklahoma and died Thursday, November 18, 2004 at Integris Bass Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. He was a 1941 graduate of Garber High School. He was a native of Garfield County and has lived his entire life in the community except for about three and one-half years he spent in the service during World War II. Freddie married Bonnie Hays on May 7, 1947 in Enid, Oklahoma. He served his country in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and the First United Methodist Church of Garber. In 1957, Freddie received the Outstanding Young Farmer award given by the Enid Jaycees and in 1976, he was presented with the Outstanding Farmer-Rancher Award given by the Garber Rotary Club. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church of Garber. Pastor Thomas Corrigan will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Garber FFA or the First United Methodist Church of Garber in care of Dugger Funeral Home, Garber, Oklahoma. Freddie is survived by his wife, Bonnie Johnson of the home; two sons, Fred Johnson and his wife, Sheila, of Garber, Oklahoma and Jim Johnson and his wife, Karla, of Garber, Oklahoma; one daughter, Carol Lairson and her husband, Richard, of Norman, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Ryan Lairson of Moore, Oklahoma, Matt Lairson and his wife, Jessica, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Jessica Sullivan and her husband, Justin, of New Deal, Texas, Adam Johnson of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Jarrod Johnson of Garber, Oklahoma and Kelsey Johnson of Garber, Oklahoma; two great-grandchildren, Tayzee Lairson and Kamren Lairson, both of Norman, Oklahoma, one sister Betty Thomason and her husband Benton of Alva, Oklahoma.
