Frances Walker

Frances Fran Jewel Williamson Walker, 87, of Perry, Oklahoma formerly of Bay, Arkansas, was the daughter of Reuben Pink and Bonnie Grace Smith Jordan. She was born June 23, 1926 in Claremore, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Newkirk High School in Newkirk, Oklahoma in 1944. Fran married Willis Williamson and was married for thirty years. Willis preceded her in death on April 26, 1977. She then married Hershel Walker on June 9, 1978 in Ponca City, Oklahoma and was married for twenty seven years. Hershel preceded her in death on October 19, 2005. Fran moved from Bay, Arkansas to Perry, Oklahoma in 2006. Fran was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan who loved to read, watch TV and play solitaire on the computer. But above all she loved spending time with family and friends. Her warming smile and sweet personality will be remembered by all that knew her. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, in Perry, Oklahoma. Brother Aaron Summers will officiate. Interment will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013 at IOOF Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. Fran is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Dyess and her husband, Leon of Perry, Oklahoma three sons Brian Williamson of Kansas, Jet Williamson and his wife, Meredith of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Pete Williamson of Perry, Oklahoma nine grandchildren, Matt Long of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jeffrey Dyess and his wife, Holly of Perry, Oklahoma, Tonia Barber and her husband, Scott of Perry, Oklahoma, Josh Williamson and his wife, Kim of Edmond, Oklahoma, Summer Anderson and her husband, Daryl of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Auburn Rush and her husband, Ryan of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Justin Williamson and his wife, Kelly of Newkirk, Oklahoma, Heather Tell of Arizona and Jason Williamson twelve greatgrandchildren and three step greatgrandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Chris Edward Rouse her parents, Reuben and Bonnie Jordan, three sisters, one brother, one grandson, Ryan Williamson husband, Willis Williamson and husband, Hershel Walker.
