Fern Dayton, 90, of Perry, Oklahoma was the daughter of Leroy Alonzo and Lillian Hentges Dayton. She was born November 20, 1918 at Perry, Oklahoma and died Monday, August 24, 2009 at Perry Memorial Hospital. A life-long resident of Noble County, Fern taught accordion and piano and was a cake decorator before she retired. She was a member of the Petunia Garden Club and the Jolly 12 Club and had served as president of both organizations. She was of the Protestant faith. Fern was an avid photographer. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009 in the Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Fern is survived by numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lillian Dayton, and one brother, Leo Dayton.
