Ferdinand Glass, 84, of Red Rock, Oklahoma was the son of Gus and Marie Orth Glass. He was born December 1, 1921 in Hambach, Germany and died Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Perry, Oklahoma. Ferdinand graduated from Billings High School in Billings, Oklahoma in 1940. He was a veteran who served his country with the United States Army during World War II. He farmed and worked with the Noble County Soil Conservation Service. He enjoyed watching television and reading. Ferdinand was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Billings American Legion Post. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2006 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Perry. Father Tom Dowdell will officiate. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Memorials may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077. Ferdinand is survived by one sister, Emma Prucha and her husband, Arnold, of Red Rock, Oklahoma; and two nephews, David Prucha, of Duncan, Oklahoma and Dan Prucha, of Red Rock, Oklahoma.
