Faye L. Cook, 94, of Perry, Oklahoma, formerly of Kiefer, Oklahoma was the daughter of Johnny and Ammie Stewart Magee. She was born May 23, 1912 at Mounds, Oklahoma and died Friday, April 6, 2007 at Perry Memorial Hospital. On March 27, 1933 she and George R. Cook were married in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Faye was a homemaker who loved her family and spending time with them. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Lone Star Baptist Church in Sapulpa. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2007 in the Sunrise Cemetery at Kellyville, Oklahoma. Pastor Negiel Bigpond will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Faye is survived by one son, Jerry Cook and his wife, Pat, of Perry, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Stacy Ruth and her husband, David, of Greenwood, Louisiana, Cory Cook, of Perry, Oklahoma and Kendra Cook, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and two great-grandchildren, Dalton Cook, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Zane Ruth, of Greenwood, Louisiana. In addition to her husband, George, who died on September 17, 1997, Faye was preceded in death by one son, Gary Cook; her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
