Everett Merz

EVERETT MERZ, 79, of Las Vegas passed away December 10, 2017. He was born August 30,1938 in Newkirk Oklahoma to Clarence and Evelyn Merz. He grew up in Kansas and attended schools in Cedar Vale, graduating in 1956. In 1960 Everett married Sharon (Jerome) and they had two children, Shelby and Kevin. He had a Ditch Witch Dealership in Fremont, California from 1973 to 1990; then moving to Las Vegas, Nevada where he enjoyed retirement.

Everett leaves behind his wife Sharon of 57 years and his 2 children Shelby Merz of San Jose, California , and Kevin Merz of Edmond, Oklahoma; as well as, 2 granddaughters Trisha and (Caleb) Harrison and Courtney (JJ) Merz and 2 Great Grandaughters Skylar and Jada and his beloved dog, Miss Molly. Services will be held at the Presbyterian Church on Saturday December 16, at 10am. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation to Ruvo-Cleveland Clinic, 888 W. Bonneville Ave. Las Vegas, Nv. 89106.
