Evelyn Hay

June 21, 1936 — September 26, 2008

Evelyn Marie Hay, 72, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma formerly of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Crawford and Lorene Wills. She was born June 21, 1936 at Buffalo, Oklahoma and died Friday, September 26, 2008 at Clare Bridge Assisted Living Center in Oklahoma City. She was a graduate of Buffalo High School and the Enid General Hospital School of Nursing. In August, 1960, she and Morton Hay were married. She was a member and had served as treasurer of the Lucien United Methodist Church where she also was active in the Agape Circle of the United Methodist Women. Evelyn also was a member of a Home Demonstration Club and the Whipple Ladies Aid. She enjoyed helping out on the family farm, spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and bird watching. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2008 at the Lucien United Methodist Church. Rev. C.M. Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Perry. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. Memorials may be made to the Lucien United Methodist Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. Seventh Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Evelyn is survived by one son, Marcus Hay, of Shady Shores, Texas; one daughter, Jarilyn Brauser and her husband, Lowell, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Logan Brauser, Jordan Brauser and Hayden Brauser, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two brothers, Curtis Wills and his wife, Karen, of Fort Supply, Oklahoma, and Max Wills and his wife, Donna, of Seiling, Oklahoma; and one sister, Marcelle Aitken and her husband, Raymond, of Wichita, Kansas. In addition to her husband, Morton, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margaret Wills.
