Ernest Edward Voise, of Perry, Oklahoma was the son of Charles Henry and Clara Mae Ewy Voise. He was born on October 25, 1924 in Perry, Oklahoma and died on March 16, 2012 in Perry, Oklahoma. Ernest and his brother Art started the Gibble Gas Station in 1955 and later sold it in 1959. He then went to work for Ditch Witch as a Machinist and retired in 1985 after 26 years. For fortyfive years he sold and serviced vacuums. He enjoyed working in the yard and on vacuums but most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. On April 18, 1945 in Sumner, Oklahoma he married his best friend Dorothy Avis Yarger. Ernest was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church serving as the Sunday School Superintendent, a Sunday school teacher, served on the Church Council and was lifelong usher. He served on the Sumner School Board. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother by all that knew him. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church in Perry. Pastor Dan Thimell will officiate and he will be assisted by Rev. Craig Groseclose. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N 7th Perry, Oklahoma 73077. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry. Ernest is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home one son, Gary Voise of Tulsa, Oklahoma two daughters, Kathy Krieg and her husband, Leon of Columbia, Missouri, Valerie Danner and her husband, Kevin of Plano, Texas one brother, Art Voise and his wife, Margie of Perry, Oklahoma five grandchildren, Amy Harman and her husband, Aaron of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Allyson McGinnis and her husband, Ben of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jarrett Chrz of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Blake Danner of Ruston, Louisiana, Beau Veit of Morrison, Oklahoma two great grandchildren, Juliet McGinnis of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Avery Harman of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma several nieces and nephews.
