Erma Maudine Rowe McCulloch Summers, 83, of Blackwell, Oklahoma was the daughter of Charles Elmer and Evelyn Maude House Rowe. She was born April 18, 1922 in Blackwell, Oklahoma and died January 31, 2006 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Erma was raised and educated in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She graduated with the Class of 1939. Erma was employed as a cafeteria cook at Union School for 20 years before her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blackwell. Erma married Gerald Raymond McCulloch on October 2, 1940; he preceded her in death November 29, 1951. On July 31, 1953 at Cherokee, Oklahoma Erma married Albert James Summers; he preceded her in death December 28, 1999. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Blackwell, Oklahoma with the Rev. Roy Moody officiating. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Kitchen Fund in care of Dugger Funeral Home, 301 W. Blackwell Ave, Blackwell, Oklahoma. Erma is survived by two sons; Lonnie Ray McCulloch and wife, Cheryl of Blackwell, Oklahoma and Gary Lynn McCulloch and wife, Jean of Braman, Oklahoma; one sister, Arnetta Hudson of Blackwell, Oklahoma; one brother, Clayton Rowe of Blackwell, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Mark McCulloch of Norman, Oklahoma, Gerald McCulloch and Michael McCulloch both of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Kyle McCulloch of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brian and Kristie McCulloch of Columbus, Mississippi and Scott Hisey of Ponca City, Oklahoma; one great grandchild, Ashley Hisey; sister-in-law Elsie Summers of Harrah, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Carroll Summers of Weatherford, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews. Including her two husbands, Erma was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sisters, Nellie and Betty Rowe and one brother Wayne Rowe.
