Emory Timmons

Emory Dean Timmons, 75, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the son of Sherman A. and Josephine E. Neurbreg Timmons. He was born on August 18, 1930 in Perry, Oklahoma and died Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was employed with his dad in the electric business and was later employed by the Perry Public Schools for several years. On February 14, 1959, Dean was united in marriage to Inez K. Moran in Perry, Oklahoma. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. A mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Tom Dowdell will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church or the American Lung Association in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077. In addition to his wife Inez of the home, Dean is survived by two brothers, Don Timmons of Perry, Oklahoma and Sherman A. Timmons of Portland, Oregon and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Josephine Timmons, one brother, William Timmons and one sister, Dorothy Jane Harrah.
