Eldon D. Kienholz, 80, Orlando, Oklahoma, was the son of E.D. and Dorothea Marie Grininger Kienholz. He was born on July 20, 1928 in Lucien, Oklahoma and died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, Oklahoma. On August 14, 1951, Eldon married Betty Mae Stout in Perry, Oklahoma. Eldon enjoyed farming, pushing over trees with his tractor and woodworking. He was a member of the Lucien United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008, at the Lucien United Methodist Church. Rev. C.M. Wilson and Rev. Dane Lemmons will officiate. Interment will be in McGuire Cemetery in Lucien, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Companion Hospice or the Lucien United Methodist Church in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Eldon is survived by his wife, Betty Kienholz; three sons, Glen Kienholz and his wife, Kim, of Orlando, Oklahoma, Don Kienholz of Perkins, Oklahoma and Ron Kienholz and his wife, Jodi, of Glencoe, Oklahoma; two daughters, Gayla Manning and her husband, Richard, of Choctaw, Oklahoma and Wanda Morrison and her husband, Grover, of Houston, Texas; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and two brothers, John Wilbert Kienholz and his wife, Etta Jane, of Perry, Oklahoma and James Leroy Kienholz and his wife Johnna, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by one infant son, his parents, two sisters, two brothers and one brother-in-law.
