Eileen Hollander Phillips was born September 28, 1930 in Garber, Oklahoma to John and Gladys Kunkle Wooden. She passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Eileen graduated from Garber High School in 1948. On November 19, 1949, Eileen Wooden was united in marriage with the late, William Gerald Hollander at the Little Community Church on the Sinclair Oilfield. To this union eight children were born, Richard, Leonard, Patty, Ray, Nancy, Linda, Brenda, and Judy. After the passing of Gerald, Eileen married Clayton Phillips on February 14, 1983 in Perry he also precedes her in death. Eileen was a woman of many traits she worked for a number of years in the home health care industry as a nurses aide. She also owned her own beauty shop and ran a day care out of her home. Eileen was a member of the Church of Christ of Perry. She enjoyed traveling, going to the lake, gardening, and sewing pillows. She was also an avid walker. Eileen is survived by eight children, Richard Hollander and his wife, Mary of Walters, OK, Leonard Hollander of Perry, OK, Patty Ritthaler and her husband, Randy of Stillwater, OK, Ray Hollander of Powder Wash, CO, Nancy Hurst and her husband, David of Ninnekah, OK, Linda Miller and her husband, Allen of Orlando, OK, Brenda Woolery and her husband, Troy of Denver, CO, and Judy Koch and her husband, Bruce of Perry one brother, John Wooden and his wife, Char of Beaverton, OR one sister, Mary Ann Avery and her husband, Connie of Ponca City, OK 18 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, William Gerald Hollander her second husband, Clayton Phillips and two brothers, Lynn and Gene Wooden. Funeral Services will be 2pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at BrownDugger Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Uhlman officiating. Interment will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, OK 73077.
