Edwin Leroy Mooney of Marshall, Ok has gone to his eternal home. He was 74 years young. He was born in Enid, Ok on May 15, 1949, born to Edward Lee and Hazel (Sattler) Mooney, and raised by JR Casteel. He attended Enid High School, graduating in the spring of 1967. After High School he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served his country proudly. He married the love of his life, Cathy Blair in matrimony in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked as Dozer Operator until he retired in 2001 and then decided to take on farming and ranching. He raised Hereford Cattle and Blue Lacy dogs. He enjoyed tinkering on his 1967 Chevelle and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was an OU fan tried and true. Most of all he loved spending time with his daughters and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hazel and JR Casteel, Edward Mooney, and daughter Ericka Lee Mooney-Cook.
He is survived by his daughter Lagina and her husband Brad Endsley of Amarillo, Tx, granddaughters Lauren and Martina Endsley, grandson Stetson Cook of Covington, Cathy Mooney, brother Gene Mooney and his wife Tamara of Enid, brother Jimmy Casteel of Enid, and many nieces.
The family would like to extend their invitation for you to join them in celebrating his life at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry. A memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023, at the funeral home starting at 2 p.m. After the memorial service, guests are welcome to stay for a reception. Refreshments will be provided. The United States Air /force Color Guard out of Tinker Air Force Base will be present to fold and present the flag as well as play “Taps” in his honor. His family has chosen cremation as the perfect way to celebrate his life so there will be no cemetery interment at this time.

Memorial Service in the chapel at Brown Dugger Funeral Home of Perry on Saturday November 4 2023 beginning at 2 p.m. The service is expected to last approximately 30 minutes . There will be a reception at the funeral home immediately following allowing time for food and fellowship
