Edith Geraldine Jerry Walker, 72, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Robert Cecil Miller and Floy Sarah Johnson. She was born on October 31, 1937 in Stillwell, Oklahoma and died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at her home. Jerry and Mack Walker were married for over 43 years. She owned and operated 89ers Restaurant for over 9 years. She then opened the Cherokee Strip Restaurant and operated it for 5 years. In 2005 she retired. Jerry was the foundation that kept her family together. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Jerry enjoyed NFL football and going to the lake fishing. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Pastor Russ Hughes will officiate. Committal services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, Oklahoma. Pastor Doyle Kinney will officiate. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donors Choice in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Jerry is survived by her husband, Mack Walker of Perry, Oklahoma four sons, Michael Ray Poeling and his wife, Donna, of Clinton, Oklahoma, Randall Duane Poeling and his wife, Marsha, of Elk City, Oklahoma, Russell Allen Walker and Rick Allen Walker, both of Perry, Oklahoma one daughter, Linda Diane Rose and her husband, James, of Clinton, Oklahoma eleven grandchildren eleven greatgrandchildren her mother, Flo Johnson stepmother, Janet Seitsinger one brother, Bob Miller of Blue Springs, Missouri and two sisters, Beverly Sloan of Morrison, Oklahoma and Jessie Mills of Pryor, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald James Poeling her father, Robert C. Miller and two sisters, Margie Williams and Lorena Brown.
