Eddie Glenn Hembree, age 67 of Perry, OK passed to be with our Lord, Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
Services will be held at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery.
Viewing is set for Monday, May 2nd from 5-7:00p.m. Family visitation will be from 5-7p.m.
Eddie was born in Plainview, TX. on May 7, 1948 to Eddie H. Hembree and Helena Carroll Hembree. Eddie had 2 sisters: Mittie Goff and Nancy Steiwig, husband Montie, and 1 brother Gene Hembree, wife Frankie.
Eddie graduated from the Plainview, High school in 1966. On August 26, 1967 he married the love of his life Cynthia Zemp. Eddie then returned to school to receive his associate's degree in Auto Mechanics and Service Management at Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee, OK.
Together Eddie and Cynthia had three daughters Jessica Hembree and husband Terry Lee, of Incheon, South Korea. Crystal Watkins and husband Christopher of Mounds, OK and Brandi Hembree and fiancé Justin Fowler of Norman, OK. He has 5 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Eddie was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving for the Vietnam police action from July 1968 till June 1971, after returning home he owned and Operated Hembree Tank Trucks Inc.
Eddie's hobbies included: Fishing, Hunting, and watching outdoor sports. He also enjoyed reading and a good game of cards. He was a member of the IOOF, Rebekah's, the American Legion and the Noble County Cattleman's Association.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, His Step-father: Patton D. Rush, a brother: Gene Herchiel Hembree and his in-laws: Paul and Lillian Zemp.
