Ed Nemechek

Edward Jerry Nemechek, 96, of Perry, Oklahoma, formerly of Red Rock, Oklahoma, was born July 1, 1917 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joseph John and Bessie Ann Vchralek Nemechek. He died on August 26, 2013 at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, Oklahoma. He married his best friend and sweetheart, Betty Lula Louise Crabtree on September 18, 1941. They resided in the Red Rock Area for 34 years. He enjoyed gardening, farming and ranching. Private family services are being held. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home. Edward is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty one son, James Lee Jim Nemechek of Yukon, Oklahoma two daughters, Mary Lynn Taylor of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Glenda Jones of Aurora, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Bessie Nemechek one grandson, Brent Taylor three sisters and one brother.
