Dorothy Bailey

Dorothy Lu Bailey, age 88 of Billings, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Billings Fairchild Center in Billings, Oklahoma.
Private Family Burial will be held on Tuesday under the direction of the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. The family has suggested memorials to the Donor's Choice and contributions may be left at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
Dorothy Bailey was born July 11, 1930 in Billings, Oklahoma to Earl and Mary (Vecera) Reed. She was a lifelong resident of Billings, Oklahoma and attended the Billings Public Schools. On October 30, 1946 Dorothy married Jetty Bailey in Denton, Texas. The couple made their home in Garber and Billings area.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a wonderful mother to her five children. She was an instructor at the Billings Fairchild Center for 33 years and touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Dorothy was a member of the Christian Church in Billings and loved to spend time with her family. She also enjoyed doing crafts and attending craft shows with her daughter and close friends.
Survivors include five children Jim Bailey of Enid, Linda Smith and her husband Benny of Perry, Ron Bailey and wife Dianna of Oklahoma City, Richard and Kenny Bailey both of Billings, grandchildren Donna Hurst, Michelle Bailey, Sandi Bailey, Cody Bailey, Casi Cummings, Billi Davis, and Randy Bailey, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jetty, her parents, sister Earlene Aston, grandson Leslie Bailey and great grandson Tanner Bailey.
