Dorothea L. Williams, 84, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Ward and Lavenia Shipley Foote. She was born on September 25, 1923 in Orlando, Oklahoma and died Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry. On July 3, 1948, Dorothea married Clark A. Williams in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2000. Dorothea enjoyed crocheting, sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed trout fishing in Colorado and spending time in Tucumcari, New Mexico with family. She will be remembered for being a loving friend and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Richard Levings will officiate. Interment will be in Red Rock Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Companion Hospice, the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of the donor's choice in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Dorothea is survived by two sons, Marvin Williams and his wife, Marilyn, of Morrison, Oklahoma and Paul Williams and his wife, Thersa, of Red Rock, Oklahoma; one daughter, Melva Hoskins and her husband, John, of Red Rock, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Becky Johnson and her husband, Kevin, of Perry, Oklahoma, Brian Hoskins of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Ryan Hoskins of Lawton, Oklahoma, Matt Williams, Mandi Robedeaux and her husband, Jason, and Morgan Williams, all of Morrison, Oklahoma, Joe Williams and his wife, Renee, Jeremy Williams and his wife, Michelle, and Jennifer Draffin and her husband, Luke, all of Red Rock, Oklahoma; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Dean Foote of Bakersfield, California; two sisters, Clara Wiseman of Perry, Oklahoma and Doris Bugg of Raton, New Mexico; one sister-in-law, LaFern Foote of Loveland, Colorado and several nieces and nephews.
