Doris Ann Bronner, age 86, died Monday, Feb. 27 at her home in Perry, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, Oklahoma with Reverend William Metz presiding. Burial will follow at Grace Hills Cemetery under the direction of the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home of Perry, Oklahoma. The family requests flowers to be sent to the funeral home and donations made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077. Doris Ann Bronner was born June 22, 1930 to Ernest and Kathryn Petermann in Noble County, Oklahoma. She graduated from Morrison High School in 1948 and met her husband, Paul David Eugene Bronner, working as a waitress in a café while he was on leave from the United States Navy. They married on November 23, 1949. The couple had six children: Connie Ann Chenoweth, Debbie Faye Pike, Pamela Sue Lovell, Paula Jean Smith, Barbara Lynn Gates and Brian Eugene Bronner.
Doris enjoyed gardening and animals, as well as a guilty pleasure of watching soap operas. She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Doris is survived by 5 children, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She will be missed.
