Donald L. Bay, 82, of Perry, Oklahoma was the son of Floyd Raymond and Minie Faye Goodwill Bay. He was born November 26, 1929 in Perry, Oklahoma and died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Perry Memorial Hospital. Donald attended Sumner High School and graduated in 1947. He met his future wife and best friend Wynema Jacqueline Stout and they were married on August 17, 1950 at the Sumner Baptist Church. Donald enlisted in the Army and served his country from 1951 to 1953 when he was honorably discharged, he returned home to begin his career as a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed working on his farm with his family and in 1971 they were nominated and won the honor of Farm Family of the year. He served on the MulhallOrlando School Board in the 1970s and 1980s education was important to him. Donald was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perry. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather by all that knew and loved him. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Brother Aaron Summers will officiate and Pastor Albert Quick will assist. Interment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of BrownDugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2011 at BrownDugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in care of BrownDugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Donald is survived by his wife Wynema of the home one son, Ronnie Bay of Perry three daughters, Cheryl Mack and her husband, Gary of Perry, Oklahoma, Donna Gallaway and her husband, Marty of Perry, Oklahoma, Shelby Wagner and her husband, Evan of Celina, Texasone daughter in law, Denise Bay of Perry, Oklahoma one brother, Raymond Bay of Perry, Oklahoma two sisters, Charlotte Rupp and Wanda Rink of Perry, Oklahoma six grandchildren Ryan Bay of Alva, Oklahoma, Greg Gallaway of Houston, Texas, Julie Simmons of Bethany, Oklahoma, Travis Gallaway of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Bryson Wagner of Celina, Texas, Kari Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma six great grandchildren, Tyler Smith of Bethany, Oklahoma, Bryer Bay of Alva, Oklahoma, Brady Simmons of Bethany, Oklahoma, Daxton Gallaway of Houston, Texas, Halie Simmons of Bethany, Oklahoma and Sofia Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by both of his parents two brothers, Floyd Bay Jr. and Lavern Bay one sister, Karen Keith.
