Dona Rae Thralls, 79, of Billings, Oklahoma was born to Raymond Pfrimmer and Opal Irene Jackson Pfrimmer, December 22, 1930 in Enid, Oklahoma. She died May 31, 2010 at the United Methodist Care Center in Enid, Oklahoma. Dona attended grade school at Antelope Valley Country School and Billings Public Schools. She then attended Garber High School graduating in 1949 and was class salutatorian and Garber FFA Queen. On October 16, 1949 she was married to Rex Thralls at Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren. Dona was a member of Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren where she and Rex served for over 50 years as deacons. She was church treasurer from 19701998 and belonged to Antelope Valley Womens Work where she held many offices and served on numerous committees. Dona served on the building committee for the church centennial and parsonage remodeling projects and over the years provided floral arrangements for the sanctuary and for special occasions. Dona served as Southern Plains district treasurer as well as serving on the district board and as a delegate to the National Conference. She dedicated much time to Camp Spring Lake Church Camp in Cordell, Oklahoma scheduling camps and rentals, buying food and supplies for church camps and actively participating in work days at the camp. She was a member of the Antelope Valley Home Demonstration Club and later the Town and Country Home Extension Group where she held numerous local and county leadership positions. Dona worked ten years at Shirley Bellmons First Lady Doll Factory as a quality control inspector and doll finisher. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at Antelope Valley Church of the Brethren. Pastor Kelly Cronkhite and Pastor John Holderread will officiate. Interment will be in Polo Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home of Billings. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Dugger Funeral Home in Billings. Dona loved beauty and excellence in all aspects of her life: from her award winning entries at county and state fairs to the beauty she created in her gardens, home interior, floral designs, sewing, crafts and cooking. She was a caretaker of all Gods creatures, especially her cats. She was a source of strength, encouragement and inspiration to her family: first in devotion to her husband, then in raising her children and giving them life skills and attitudes for success and finally in supporting her grandchildren in all their ballgames, stock shows, plays, music events, always applauding their successes. Dona is survived by her husband, Rex Thralls of Billings, Oklahoma, two children, eight grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren: son, Michael Thralls and his wife, Donna, of Billings, Oklahoma their five children, Raymond Thralls and his wife, Abby and daughters, Katy and Ellie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma Gregory Thralls and his wife, Sunny and their children, Bryce, Kristian and Kaysun of Bokchita, Oklahoma Michele Stowers and her husband, Alan and sons, John and Jalan of Havelock, North Carolina Angela Reinschmiedt and her husband, Ben, of Enid, Oklahoma, and Derek Thralls of Garber, Oklahoma daughter, Debby Thralls Holloway and her husband, Bill of Uvalde, Texas their three daughters, Amber Holloway of Amarillo, Texas, Brooke Holloway of Marshall, Texas, and Crystal Rieff and her husband, Joshua, of Waco, Texas one brother, Bill Majors of Ponca City, Oklahoma and one sister, Cindy Yost of Billings, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Irene Pfrimmer, as well as her stepmother, Audrey Pfrimmer.
