Dolores May Campbell, 88, of Garber, died, Sunday, May 7, 2017, in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Enid, Oklahoma. She was born in Clayton, New York to Lawrence and Erma (Persy) Colin on April 18, 1929. She enjoyed many years of service to the Garber Schools as a Foster Grandparent and was known by many as Grandma Dee. In fact, her name given by the children spread quickly and she proudly bore the name in the community by all. She loved serving children and especially loved her grandchildren and the times she was able to be with them. She worked as a homemaker and waitress but serving the children was her passion.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Campbell, two daughters, Vickie Hogan and Debbie Foxwell and three brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Robinson of Fond du lac, Wisconsin and one son, James Campbell of Garber, Oklahoma. Five grandchildren, Bob Hogan, Jeff Robinson, Jason Robinson, and Kimmi Bales. Six great grandchildren, Brandon Robinson, Courtney Hogan, Jade Robinson, Haley Hogan, Jonah Robinson and Eden Robinson. One brother, Bob Colin of Rochester, New York.
Services for Ms. Campbell will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017, at 7:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 5:30 till service time at the Christian Church, 203 Iowa Street, Garber, Oklahoma. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Survivor Resource Network for domestic violence through the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dugger Funeral Home of Garber
