Delbert Cross

Delbert Edward Cross, 72, of Guthrie, Oklahoma was the son of Oval and Amy Hartung Cross. He was born October 17, 1934 at Perry, Oklahoma and died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Delbert served his country with the United States Army from January 15, 1957 to January 14, 1959. He worked as a county truck driver before retiring. He was an avid fisherman. Delbert enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and other members of his family. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2006 in the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry. Rev. Frank Mitchell will officiate. Inurnment will be in Grace Hill Cemetery at Perry. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th, Perry, Oklahoma 73077. Survivors are one daughter-in-law, Tara Cross, of Guthrie, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Zachary Cross and Nathan Cross, both of Guthrie, Oklahoma; one brother, Jim Cross, of Perry, Oklahoma; one sister, Neva Montgomery, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
