Dedra Shuler

Dedra Ann Shuler, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on February 12, 2025, in her hometown of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on December 15, 1971, Dedra filled the lives of those around her with sweetness and kindness that transcended her years. She had an unwavering love for animals, frequently finding joy in the companionship of both cats and dogs.

Dedra's dedication to her passions became an even brighter light when she recently graduated with her Master’s degree. Embracing her education with open arms, she was excited to embark on a new career as a patient advocate, hoping to make a positive impact in the lives of those needing support and guidance.

She leaves behind her cherished family, including her father, Larry Shuler, and his wife, Pat, both residing in Oklahoma City. Dedra will also be deeply missed by her brother, Anthony Shuler, who shared a bond with her that spoke of a lifetime of love and laughter.

In her passing, Dedra joins her beloved mother, Donna Jo McConnell, who has watched over her from above, and the two have been united once more. Dedra will be remembered not only for her academic accomplishments and professional aspirations but, more importantly, for the warmth she offered to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of her family and friends.
