It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of our husband, father, grandfather and friend, Dale Miller. Friends are welcome to come pay their respects at a memorial service at the First Baptist Church of Billings on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Honorary casket bearers are Miles Aaron Miller, Jesse Bruce Campbell, Tucker Brown, Paisley Brown, Peyton McCullough, Deakon James and Walker James.
Dale was born on November 18, 1956 in Enid , OK to Jesse Isaac Miller and Beulah Joaquin Totten Miller. Raised on a farm, he showed sheep for FFA. He was very athletic in school playing football as a quarter back and running back. He attended Billings Schools graduating in 1975. He had an ornery side and came by it honestly. There is a rumor around town of a young man who looked an awful lot like him riding his motorcycle down the halls of Billings High School in the late 1970’s. He worked at Ditch Witch as a prototype machinist. In November on 2006 he met the love of his life, Angela Brown . They were joined in holy matrimony in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 18, 2017. If it went fast, Dale liked it. He built custom hot rods, a tractor and even a zero turn lawn mower from scratch. If it was broken, he could fix it. He had an uncanny flair for metal work. He rode motocross in his younger days semi-pro. If you were brave enough to get on his bike, you got a free high speed wheelie every time. A great spoiler of grandkids, he could often be heard singing lullabies to get them to sleep. No man has ever loved his grandbabies more than Dale Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gerald Miller, Molly the dog, and friend Justin Heimrich.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory and mourn his loss his wife Angel of the home, Son Jesse Gene Miller and his fiancée Ashton Miller of Hawaii, son Aaron Miller and his fiancée Megan Miller of Perry, step daughter Brittany James and her husband Josh of Kingfisher, step son Kyle Brown and his wife Aimee of Covington, grandsons Miles Aaron Miller of Hawaii, Jesse Bruce Campbell of Perry, Tucker Brown, Paisley Brown and Peyton McCullough all of Covington, Deakon James and Walker James both of Kingfisher. Brothers R.J. Miller and David Miller, and sister Karen Miller. Dog Fonzy and lifetime friends Joe and Linda Heimrich.
