Dale Frances Herde

Dale Frances Herde of Billings, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 at the Garland Road Rehab and Nursing facility in Enid, OK on January 29th, 2025. Dale was born on September 19th, 1940, to Frances and Ruth Herde in Billings, OK. 

Dale spent his entire life in Billings with just a short stint in the Army. He was a dedicated son who helped his father, Frances, in the family business. Dale and Frances were well-known throughout the community. If you saw one you saw the other. Dale attended the Christian Church and the Baptist Church in Billings. He was active in the local Senior Center, delivering meals and enjoying the company of those who attended and ate lunch. He was much loved by his church and his community. He was a favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Frances & Ruth Herde, sister Carol Herde, sister Loretta Myers, and brother Morris Herde. 

He is survived by one sister, Clarice & her husband Harley Everhart of Gig Harbor, WA, and sister-in-law, Dee Herde of Kaw City, OK. And many nieces, and nephews, all of whom he loved. 

Memorials can be given to the Senior Center of Billings or Wheatheart Nutrition of Billings.
