Dale Dean Cinnamon, 68, of Garber, Oklahoma, was the first born child of Kenneth Elvin and Dorene K. Garton Cinnamon. He was born on March 24, 1944 on a farm east of Garber, Oklahoma and died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at his residence in Garber, Oklahoma. He went to school in Garber and graduated in 1962. During his high school years he was active as the President of the local FFA and participated in band. Dale married Linda S. Noteware in 1965. They had one child, Dayla S. Cinnamon Canaday. He attended college at Oklahoma AM until 1967. Dale later married Karen Harmon in Carthage, Missouri. He then later found the love of his life, Peggy Failing who preceded him in death. He lived in Stillwater, Billings and Garber during his lifetime. He farmed west of Billings for a few years, worked in the oil field and the Garber CoOp. He started a small engine repair business in 2004. He loved fishing and reading novels and had numerous books at his home. Most of all Dale loved spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at First Christian Church of Garber. Rev. Doyle Newsom will officiate. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma. Dale is survived his daughter, Dayla Canaday and her husband, Danny of Garber, Oklahoma granddaughter, Brittney Buckendorf grandsons, Gage Canaday and Colby Canaday all of Garber, Oklahoma brother Lonnie Cinnamon and his wife, Linda of Garber, Oklahoma sisters, Avola Rutledge and her husband, Ralph of Marysville, Ohio, Joyce Masters of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma several nieces and nephews.
