Couie Eugene Scott, 65, of Garber, Oklahoma was born on November 9, 1952 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Couie Scott Sr. and Geraldine Green. He passed away on February 7, 2018 in Garber, Oklahoma.
Couie grew up in Eloy, Arizona where he graduated from Santa Cruz Valley High School.
He married his best friend and the love of his life Brenda Scott July 31, 1981. To this union five children were born, Jaala, Corie, Barbara, Dana, and Couie Scott Jr. "Sparks".
Couie was a genuine and kindhearted man who loved his family dearly. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His hobbies consisted of fishing, golfing, and playing cards. He loved camping, cookouts with friends and family. He also loved his trips to the lake and his vacations to Red River, New Mexico where the family would snow ski, and going to Six Flags.
Couie worked at Farmland until he got injured and retired June 1, 2003 as a senior class A operator.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Price Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma from 8:00am-8:00pm. Services have been entrusted to the care of Dugger Funeral Home in Garber, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory are his daughters; Jaala Scott of Garber, Oklahoma, Dana Scott of Ingalls, Indiana, and Barbara Chandler and her husband Harold of Enid, Oklahoma; His son's; Corie Scott and his wife, Christi of Crescent, Oklahoma, and Couie Scott Jr. "Sparks" of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Haight, and brother Timothy McDonald.
