Corky Noteware, 77, of Garber, Oklahoma, was the son of Fred and Nora Bunch Noteware. He was born on November 22, 1927 north of Garber, Oklahoma on the family homestead and died November 12, 2005 at his home. On July 20, 1954, Corky married Glenda Morse in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on February 21, 2005. They made their home on the family farm southeast of Garber for 37 years. They moved to Garber in 1991 where he spent the rest of his life. Corky and Glenda operated the Garber Package Store until their retirement in 1995. Corky enjoyed farming, carpentry, playing cards and his grandchildren. Corky served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2005 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber, Oklahoma. Rev. Joseph Myers will officiate. Burial will be in the Garber Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home, Garber, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber in care of Dugger Funeral Home, P.O. Corky is survived by four daughters, Mary Wolf and her husband, Ken, of Sun Lakes, Arizona, Linda Cinnamon of Garber, Oklahoma, Judy Collins and her husband, Phil, of Garber, Oklahoma and Debbie Hayton and her husband, David, of Billings, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one sister, Frances Sheffer of Longmont, Colorado.
