Clyde was born on March 23, 1939 to Mr. George Franklin Roberts and his wife, Bonnie Marie McIntyre Roberts in Marshall, Oklahoma. He attended schools In Orlando, Oklahoma. Always ready for an adventure, Clyde joined the U.S. Navy at only 17 years old. He was stationed on a cargo ship where he traveled the world. They began their life as a married couple at the Orlando Christian Church on June 25, 1976. Together they raised 5 children in a loving happy home. Clyde worked hard to provide for his family. In his free time, he enjoyed farming and ranching on his 40-acre spread. His “40 Acres of Heaven” he would say. His cattle were his passion, his love, his get away from it all. The only thing Clyde loved more than his cattle was his family, especially the grandkids. He poured his heart and soul into spoiling those grandkids. Like everything else Clyde did, he did a thorough job of it. He attended their sporting events, school functions, and family gatherings. Clyde always had a generous heart. Clyde was a member of the First Christian Church of Perry. He also decided to return to school later in life and obtained his GED at age 50. He will be missed more than words can say. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debbie Roberts, son Steven Roberts, brothers Ben Roberts, Doyle Roberts, Vernon Roberts, and sister Anita Chestnut.
