Claude Ray Thein, 56, of Blackwell, Oklahoma was the son of Ray and Dorothy Jones Thein. He was born March 30, 1950 in El Reno, Oklahoma and died Sunday, November 12, 2006 at his residence in Blackwell, Oklahoma. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Braman Cemetery, Braman, Oklahoma. Dr. Richard Thomasson of the First Baptist Church in Tonkawa, Oklahoma will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Ray moved as a young boy to Belle Plaine, Kansas and then for a short time lived in Seattle, Washington where his dad worked for Boeing. Ray enlisted in the Army in 1967, where he served two tours of duty. He also received his GED while in the Army. Ray was employed at Furrs Cafeteria in Ponca City, Oklahoma for two years and for the past four years was working for Tyson Food Inc. in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Ray is survived by his wife-companion, Stacy McFarland of Blackwell, Oklahoma; one brother; Felix Thein of Blackwell, Oklahoma; two sisters, Leatha Russell of Kansas and Loretta Huff of Renton, Washington.
